Spitzer: At least he's "normal"

I have to say if there's any reaction I can say I had to the Eliot Spitzer scandal, it was relief.

In this day and age there are so many instances where a scandal might refer to a man boiling and eating his girlfriend's body parts, a man sodomizing a newborn to get him to stop crying, people shitting in cups and eating it (I linked to the site ONLY to confirm that it does in fact exist but I implore you. PLEASE do not watch that video!) etc.

Each day I'm more horrified by crimes I see in the news whether they involve politicians or not. The truth is: we've come to expect scandal from politicians. Yes, it is infuriating when you entrust your safety and well-being to a man and he spends more time chasing (or buying) sex than serving the public but when you think about what he could have been doing, I have to say I'm relieved that it wasn't worse. I mean think about it. I could think of a thousand worse things he could have been doing.

I bet Spitzer can!
